Bob Sullivan is a lifelong Philadelphian who lived in upstate New York for three years. He married his life partner, Bill, in Vermont in September 2009. In fact, they were the first same-sex couple to legally marry in Vermont. Bob joined Marriage Equality New York (MENY) shortly after marrying, and worked in the North Country during New York's fight for marriage equality.

After moving back home to Philadelphia, Bob worked with E.D. Brian Silva to reactivate the MEUSA presence in Pennsylvania. He is working hard to get PA into the national spotlight and build to MEUSA membership across the state.

Bob is a graduate of Temple University, has a background in Family Financial Planning and LOVES saltwater reef aquariums! He and Bill have been together for 20 years and are a living examples of marriage inequality and marriage equality, waiting for consistency on this issue across the nation.
