- On 28 April 2014 an OregonLive online poll asking readers whether the courts or voters should make the call on the state's same-sex marriage ban, about 56 percent of respondents said the decision belongs to the courts. Of the 318 readers who responded, about 41 percent said voters should get to weigh in again.
- On 20 February 2014, Oregon United for Marriage surveyed OR residents on same-gender civil marriage, and reported that 55% support it, 41% do not, with 4% unaccounted for. News Source
