Brian has dedicated himself to helping others for much of his life. In high school he was an EMT and a local Search & Rescue volunteer. Growing up in a Croatian immigrant family, he understood the importance of having clear goals and a strong work ethic. This, combined with a strong passion for serving others, led him to a career in financial planning where, for over 13 years, he has helped individuals and businesses, as well as the LGBTQ community, achieve their dreams.
Brian became an officer, taking on the Treasurer position, in November 2014. Currently, in addition to his MEUSA involvement, Brian is the Development Chair for Momentum Teens for Leadership, Co-chair of the American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure NYC, and is actively involved with the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce New York (NGLCCNY), as well as other various LGBT organizations. Brian’s past volunteer service includes working with the Boys and Girls Club, the Children's Miracle Network/Children's Hospital, and HRC.
In his spare time, he enjoys the beach, soccer, football, snowboarding and the outdoors. His proudest accomplishment is retiring his mom 100% at age 63, allowing her even more time to spoil her grandchildren.
Brian believes that every individual should have the opportunity to not only live a life of success but one of significance.
