Sidney Andrews’ compelling memoir, A Fall to New Heights: A Love Crept in Un-Awares, is a testament to the power of the human spirit. Her true story shatters social barriers and misconceptions, a shining beacon of hope for all those who have ever been targeted for being different.

Sidney Andrews is a mother, retired nurse, with a graduate degree in Psychology and motivational speaker. Her passions include continuing to  grow spiritually with her partner, Kate, of 38 years, writing, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Sidney and Kate still patiently wait for the full realization of marriage equality.

In Celebration of Harvey Milk by Angela F. Luna             

In Celebration of Harvey Milk offers educators materials to teach about Harvey Milk in a way that honors his memory and his important contributions to our society while providing support and instructional materials that cultivate compassion and understanding for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people in our communities.

Angela F. Luna has taught for 16 years and was awarded an ISPAAC Teacher of the Year award in 1998. She was named a News10 Teacher of the Month in June 2002 and a finalist for her school district's Teacher of the Year Award for 2011. She is currently a candidate for National Board Certification and lives in Northern California with her future wife, Patty, and their four dogs, Callaway, Missy, Tommy, and Joe.

Davina Kotulski

Love Warriors: The Rise of the Marriage Equality Movement and Why It Will Prevail: Dr. Davina Kotulski is an internationally known gay marriage advocate. She's spoken to thousands of people across the country about equal rights for LGBTIQ people, appeared in a half a dozen documentaries, has been featured in Newsweek, Time and USA Today, and has sold over 8,000 copies of her book Why You Should Give A Damn About Gay Marriage. Dr. Kotulski is the former Executive Director of Marriage Equality USA and currently serves on the organization’s Advisory Board.

For over 15 years in her work as a psychologist and coach, Davina has helped thousands of people to love and accept themselves and to become more confident and empowered. She’s coached hundreds of LGBTIQ people, their loved ones and their allies to become more powerful marriage equality advocates. Her second book, Love Warriors, released October 2010, is a call to action to help all people speak from their heart and become love warriors for equal marriage rights for LGBTIQ people and their families.

Terry Angel Mason

His writings are destined to make him one of the important voices of the African-American experience. We have no doubt that the artistry and vision that Mason demonstrates in his compelling books will continue to influence our culture, reshape our thinking, and touch our hearts and lives for decades to come. Mason's accomplishments are not limited to the written and spoken word; he has distinguished himself through a vital and challenging musical ministry as well. Elected officials have requested Mason and his choirs to sing at events such as the State of the City Address, national conventions, inaugural celebrations, and nationally televised events.

Matt Baume

Matt Baume started off as a blogger in 2004, and kept doing it in his spare time until his spare time eventually grew to occupy the entire day. He's now a freelance writer, photographer, and videographer covering LGBT issues and science for publications such as The Bay Area Reporter, SFist, SF Weekly, NBC, Instinct Magazine and Grist. Matt also produces various independent video projects, most notably a regular weekly series on marriage equality. Matt serves as the staff Research and Communicatiuons Manager for the the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER). In his spare time he photographs nightlife, bikes everywhere, and raises rats.

My Uncle's Wedding
by Eric Rosswood

After the passing of Proposition 8 in California, Eric began to devote the majority of his free time to working towards LGBT equality. He is currently a local chapter leader for Marriage Equality USA where he continues to educate the public on the importance of marriage equality and the 1,138 rights that are denied to same-sex couples. Eric is the author of My Uncle’s Wedding, a children’s book about same-sex marriage published in 2011. He currently lives with his husband, Mat, and their two cats in Emeryville, CA.
