Marriage Equality USA is here to empower you to advocate for marriage equality in your own voice.

Here are some specific needs we have right now:
Social Media Team (National and Local)
Calling all Facebook and social media fanatics - we need volunteers to post to local Facebook pages; post to the national MEUSA Facebook page; track and post on pages of local LGBTIQ and allied organizations. Experience in the following areas is desirable: messaging techniques, social networking to build constituencies and online fundraising. Commitment: 2 + hours per week average and ability to commit to the project for at least one year. If interested please email Thom Watson at watson@marriageequality.org.
Community Liaisons
These are volunteer leadership positions with Marriage Equality USA. Community Liaisons focus on educating the public about marriage equality within targeted communities, providing information and sharing our message in specific ways, as well as contributing information regarding their communities to our national organization. Leadership Coordinator (National)
Communicate with our local volunteer Chapter Leaders and Community Liaisons; handle adminstrative paperwork (via online tools and email) for all volunteer leaders; keep Leadership Directories up-to-date; recruit new volunteer leaders across the country; ensure that our volunteer leaders have what they need to do their work. Must have an Internet connection and be skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel. Helps to be familair with Google Docs and Google Apps. This is a key organizational position - if you have expereience supervising volunteers and are familair with our work and the organization, we'd love to work with you! Web Content Editors (National)
Assist the webteam in editing and creating the content for the MEUSA site. Looking for individuals that have good copy and graphic skills, are familiar with HTML code, Durpal, and are well versed in grammar and technical writing skills. Web Graphic Designers (National)
Assist the webteam and media teams with creating graphics and design interfaces for print and online media presence. Looking for individuals with great graphic skills, are familiar with Adobe & Microsoft suite of products to assist in document design preparations.
