Marriage equality is an issue affecting real people in all of our communities. Even though progress is being made, there is still great inequality in this country and it has a direct negative impact on the lives of everyday people just like you. Everyone should have the chance to realize their hopes and dreams, have the same basic fundamental rights and protections under the law, and be able to celebrate their love as equal members in all aspects of society!

MEUSA's Getting To "I Do" program aims to illustrate the impact that the long road to equality has on families of the LGBTQ community, including their children, friends, and other loved ones.
