4/29/2015 PPFA HHS has proposed to amend its acquisition regulation, which outlines policies for entering into/awarding contracts.
 4/24/2015 National Employment Law Project, Economic Policy Institute Raise the Wage Act. This bill will raise the federal minimum wage to $12 by 2020, will gradually eliminate the sub-minimum wage for tipped workers, and will index the minimum wage to median wages, so as wages grow for the workforce overall, they will also grow for the lowest-wage workers in this county.

 3/26/2015 National Women's Law Center Department of Labor’s Office of Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) recently issued a proposed rule to update the Sex Discrimination Guidelines for federal contractors.
 3/4/2015 HRC Urging Members of Congress to co-sponsor the Student Non-Discrimination Act and include it in any reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act.
 2/26/2015 ACLU The letter supports two bills that were passed by the DC Council in 2014:  the Human Rights Amendment Act of 2014 and the Reproductive Health Non-Discrimination Amendment Act of 2014. 
 2/25/2015 Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum Help restore funding for Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (“REACH”), a critical federal program aimed at addressing racial and ethnic health disparities.
 2/24/2015 Task Force We are renewing our call on HHS to explicitly state that sexual orientation discrimination is prohibited by the sex-based non-discrimination mandate found in section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act, and calling on HHS to include both sexual orientation and gender identity as protected classes in any forthcoming regulations implementing 1557.

Murray's companion bill to HR 3774, Repealing Ineffective and Incomplete Abstinence-Only Program Funding Act of 2013 as early as May.  This bill would repeal Title V abstinence-only-until-marriage sexuality education funding, and transfers those funds to the Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP), which offers a more comprehensive approach to sex education that is inclusive of LGBT youth.
